Joshua O. Smith (b.1996) is an emerging lens-based artist whose practise focuses on ecologically driven documentary work that relates to concepts of place. Currently, Joshua's practise consists of narratives situated within the contemporary Australian landscape and national identity - often drawing inspiration from the ways in which humans coexist with their surrounding environment.
Recently, Joshua was selected to participate in the Monash Gallery of Art’s Develop (2021) exhibition, an annual showcase of emerging photographic artists.
